Enovex is developing a globally distinguished greenhouse gas capture system that targets carbon dioxide, nitrogen, and water. Flue gas selectivity is facilitated by mechanical separation using a unique configuration of semi-permeable membranes. Our system will provide a much higher capture efficiency than conventional systems, require much less power to operate, and will not create coal system backpressure. The most common impediment with carbon capture is the high cost-per-tonne of CO captured. Our goal is to improve the carbon capture business model by developing the most cost-effective and highly-efficient solution.

Enovex was founded in 2009 and operates out of Saint John, New Brunswick. All prototype development activity is located in Fredericton, New Brunswick. The company is guided by exceptional business leaders and outstanding Chemical Engineer. Strategic guidance is supplemented by an advisory board comprising a group of Atlantic Canada’s most accomplished industry experts and business professionals. The research and development is supplemented by the help of 3 PhD scientists who have a sum of 100 years experience and 7 patented and licensed technologies.

We’ve raised just under 100K in grants and debt to initiate the prototype construction. To help with the prototype phase, we received core-system materials donated from a multi-national manufacturer. The co-founder and one of the researchers are leading the technical development.
