Creating a better end user experience Clinic Server was created to solve problems associated with medical clinic management. Early analysis revealed a huge chasm between what medical practices needed, and what old software did. We discovered that the vast majority of existing solutions began as billing automation systems. Things such as scheduling and workflow were either non existent in other products, or appeared to be “tacked on” as an afterthought. In fact many offices were still using paper appointment books. We decided from the beginning that scheduling would not be an afterthought, but a forethought. The test of our success would be getting rid of appointment books and increasing the numbers of patients seen comfortably in a practice. We succeeded. Clinic Server was built the way your business works– from front to back. It looks different, feels different and is different than other programs. The parallel project for Clinic Server was to develop a solution which office managers and clinicians alike would be completely comfortable using within a very short time span. Using the latest in enterprise Java technology, we developed a highly interactive, Rich Client user interface. Unlike many other internet applications, Clinic Server looks and feels like a locally running desktop application, complete with multi-level navigation and interactive popups and dialogs. Clinic Server has been supporting clients with leading edge healthcare management solutions for the past 10 years. All of our early Clients are using Clinic Server to this day, along with others from coast to coast.

Scott Walton and Kevin Outhouse formed the Enovex team in Q4 of 2008. Enovex is located in Saint John, New Brunswick, Canada. Presently, we operate from personal space and have meetings at our board member's office locations. We plan to acquire dedicated space for lab equipment, office equipment, and testing area once we establish funding. Enovex plans to assemble solutions for industrial businesses to become more eco and environmentally friendly. Our products will enable businesses to avoid costs associated with harmful gas emissions. The first product, our semi-permeable membrane assembly, will take two and a half years to achieve market readiness. Product development will be supported by a vast network of resources including engineers, membrane specialists, design consultants, and experienced business professionals. Most of these resources are specifically identified in Enovex’s tactical budget. Our company has established an advisory board that comprises of six senior members from some of Saint John’s most successful companies. Product innovation, corporate integrity, responsibility, and diligence are values that will help us achieve our goals. Enovex will give back to the community by creating jobs, sponsoring environmentally friendly events, and enabling the reduction of New Brunswick’s carbon footprint. Our project plans on overcoming technical and economic challenges. Producing a working prototype is a critical objective, and precise timing is crucial for competitive positioning.
