This program is the only Masters Certificate in Business Analysis program in Canada and is backed by not just one, but six leading Canadian Universities. This program focuses on the vital ingredients to be an effective Business Analyst – from planning, communicating, eliciting, and analyzing to validating and managing the user requirements - through the project life cycle. The result: projects with cost savings, accurate time to market, and most importantly, solutions that meet the organization’s business needs.

business side of projects and formal education is becoming a base requirement. This program
builds the knowledge and skills of a successful and sought after Business Analyst.

Who should attend?
• Business Analysts from all industries who are responsible for identifying, analyzing and
managing business requirements, analyzing business processes and recommending solutions
• Business Analysts who lack formal training and need to close the gaps in their background
• Business or IT professionals who want to move into the Business Analyst role
• Project Managers
• Quality Assurance professionals
• Product Managers

The program will be offered at the Saint John Hilton and will consist of 8 modules, totaling 18
days over a two-year period. Participants are able to take the program as a whole or take
individual modules to fill in gaps in their knowledge or to complete their MCBA certificate.

The cost of each module is $449.00 per day per person, a 10% discount for IIBA members in good
standing or any Aliant employees.

Further information can be found on the program website. For questions or to register please

Overview
Most companies build nice (pretty) websites. It’s like hiring a supermodel instead of a salesperson. In this session, we’ll discuss three high-impact techniques to double your results, whether your objective is to increase memberships, leads or sales, within the next three months.

Presented By:
Dan Martell, Co-Founder
Flowtown (www.flowtown.com)

Bio:
Dan Martell (www.danmartell.com) is an award winning entrepreneur and co-founder of Flowtown (www.flowtown.com).

A New Brunswick native with over a decade of experience in the technology industry, Dan has applied the principles he teaches to successfully launch two companies in the past five years that each produced a million dollars within the first 24 months. In his last company, Spheric Technologies (www.spheric.ca), he worked with large organizations (Procter & Gamble, Dole Foods, Yale University ) to help them make sense of Web 2.0 and create social applications focused on employees and partners. Dan now lives in San Francisco, investing in startups and focusing on building a bridge between Atlantic Canada and Silicon Valley.

The ACEnet Consortium provides high performance computing resources for researchers in Atlantic Canada, and ACEnet equipment has recently been installed at UNB Saint John. This workshop will introduce attendees to the computing resources, video-conferencing resources and other resources available. No registration required. For questions, call 458-7273.

About ACEnet
Over the last five years, universities across Canada have been organising themselves into regional groups to acquire and operate large-scale high performance computing (HPC) facilities for research. Several of these "HPC Consortia" now exist and each has received tens of millions of dollars in funding from the Canada Foundation for Innovation (CFI), provincial matching funds, and corporate partners.

ACEnet ("Atlantic Computational Excellence Network") is Atlantic Canada's entry into this national fabric of HPC facilities. It is a partnership of seven institutions, including Memorial University of Newfoundland, University of New Brunswick, Mount Allison University, Dalhousie University, St. Francis Xavier University, St. Mary's University and the University of Prince Edward Island.
